Children can't judge speed
A study by researchers at Royal Holloway, University London showed that whilst adults were able to judge speeds up to 50mph, children of primary school age weren't able to judge speeds of vehicles above 20mph.
It is recommended that people take extra care near roads when with young children, and keep an eye on their speed when driving through residential areas. For further information click here:
