What to do if you think a Child is being abused?

Everyone who comes into contact with children and families, have a duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

If you have any concerns about a child's welfare and you consider the child is, or may be at risk of, suffering significant harm, you must refer the child and family to children's social care or the police.
